ITS A NO BRAINER FOR ELLIS TO STAY AT CRU IN 2024.

North Wales Crusaders are delighted to secure the services of second rower former Orrell St James player Ryan Ellis for another season; which will keep him at the club until the end of the 2024 campaign.

22 year old Ellis made his full North Wales Crusaders debut during last season's 70-0 Cup defeat of the Royal Navy, since then he's made 18 league and cup appearances scoring 5 tries.

Ellis commented " “Really Looking forward to another year at Cru.

I really enjoyed the 2023 season so it was a no brainer when Carl asked me to stay on for another year.

I’m excited to get started and push for promotion in 2024 as I believe we are more than capable as a group of doing so.

Also would like to say a big thank you to the fans as they have made me feel very welcomed from the get go and it’s fair to say they were outstanding last year, really stuck by us through the tough results and were brilliant in the play offs so hopefully we’ll be able to give them a great season in 2024.

Carl Forster commented "Ryan’s a huge character in the group, his improvement last year was massively and we are looking for the same again.

He's a real grafter of a player and had bought into what we want from day 1.

Another season learning at this level he will become a real mainstay in the team."
